Home Plans And Home Designs - Mobile Soundproof Walls?

Hello All!
My husband and I are in the process of moving into a loft . It's a large open layout and we'd like to include a recording studio/ rehearsal space. I would like to be able to divide the living room area with some sort of mobile curtain or soundproof wall so we might be able to have both rooms functional without interference. We do not have the option to install anything permanent as we are technically "renters" . I haven't had any luck with do it yourself directions, only prefab walls which aren't very attractive. Is that my best option (pre-fab) ? We would also like to create something similar to divide a large bedroom into two rooms for our children. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for your time :)

It will be very hard to have any quality recordings in a loft design. I know of nothing out their that will be able to reduce noise and vibrations to be able to give you recordings with out noise. Just very hard to do in a building that was not designed for this use.
