This might not be the right forum, but I felt it was the best place for an answer.
The questions is, during the winter, why is it that my day time temps, inside, lower then during the evening?
My thermostat is set at 67, and I my heat does come on when it drops below that, but certain rooms are just colder during the day. Once the sun sets, the temps even out throughout the house.
I just can't figure this out. The thermostat is located close to the center of the house and there's no direct sunlight that hits it.
Anyone got any ideas on why this is happening? If anything I'd think by daytime temps would be more even since the sun is hitting the house.

The rooms that are getting more Sun during the day should be warmer than those rooms that do not get that much Sun. This may account why the room temperatures are uneven.
