I recently had a new tub and fiberglass shower surrond put in my bathroom. My opening was 60 1/2 inches. The tub is 60 inches, So I have a gap. They cut the sheet rock about 4 inches around the tub to remove the old tub and nail the new one in. I plan on fill in the spaces around the rest of the tub with greenboard. I am wondering how to fill in the 1/2 gap so it is even with the rest of the wall. The side wall of the surround to shimmed and screwed into the studs to make it level. If you have any suggestions or would like me to provide more info let me know. Thank you
