I've changed flapper to 3 different types, Korky, Fluidmaster adjustable and cheap black rubber type and none work. Wondering if the plastic tube that holds and channels small inlet hose can leak around the base and into bowl? I've filled bowl and held down on flapper to seal hole, but water is still trickling into bowl. It's a briggs 1.6 gal. w/ a ball float. Suggestions?

Is water running into bowl - or tank? If bowl, and you've changed flapper 3 times - then your plastic piece connecting tank to bowl is possibly cracked and allowing seepage. Also possible it's simply not tightened down enough and water is seeping through seal. Is there any water down backside of toilet on the outside?

Not leaking on back/outside and under tank. Just in the bowl. I suppose it's time to change out the flap valve. I'll try tightening down valve. I prolly need to put a new seal around valve anyway, the one on it is deteriorating. Home was built in '04 and they put some little 1"x4" plastic thingy that suppose to keep toilet clean--think it's destroying rubber washers and valve seal. Time to replace in all 3 toilets.
