Hi, I recently installed an oak floor in my kitchen. My chairs are all oak and I am now noticing scratches on my floor resultsing from the chairs obviously moving on the floor. I have tried magic sliders which was a waste of money as they created many of the scratches, their claims are ridiculous as I ended up contacting them resulting with them sending me a check to resurface my floor. I have purchased the felt pads and they continually come off and I even tried super glue to keep them on. Is there any product that can work becuase as you might understand I am getting extremely frustrated after spending all that money on a new floor. Any help would be very appreciated.

Many hardware stores (and some big boxes) sell the nail in glides that have a heavy-duty cloth bottom - sort of like a small circle of shag rug.

These are the ONLY glides I suggest to my customers when I work on their chairs.

These need to be checked periodically as they will wear out and need replacement.
