I've done some remodeling and have gotten rid of a door that had a wireless sensor. I would like to remove that zone from my keypad but not sure how. I have a DSC Power 832 system with a PC5516 Led Keypad. It is an entry door zone # 11 that I want to remove. Can't find zone removal instructions in manual. Thanks for any help.

A little more info. The sensor for the zone I'm trying to remove is damaged and gives a trouble light. I've been bypassing the zone for weeks now, hence my wanting to remove the zone from my keypad. Thanks for any help.

do you know the installer code for this system?

Yes I have the installer code. I found removal of wireless sensor in installation manual and followed it to remove zone 11 sensor and it seemed to have worked. I think I screwed up entering the numbers though, because now trouble light for #11 is gone but I don't seem to have anything for my zone #2. It is a hard wired entry door. I have no chime now and it doesn't show up on the keypad when I open the door. All other zones are working fine. It's like I made zone #2 vanish. I not going to try anything else until I get some help. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i'm not sure why zone 2 isn't working. by deleting 11, nothing should have happened. go to *8, installer code, 202, and make sure that 2 is on. then #, then 001 and make sure the zone is assigned. then go to attributes, 102 and make sure 3 is on with the other numbers. exit out and *4 to turn on the chime. let me know what happens.
