How do you clean baby oil off of a marble floor. I tried warm water and it is still stained. It looks like a permanent wet spot

Hi Johanne and welcome to the DIY Forums!
Do you have cornstarch available? Sprinkle the cornstarch, let sit, sweep up and repeat. There may be a commercial product available that works better, but that's a tough stain. Don't use heat or steam, because that will cause the oil to spread. Scrubbing won't do anything to help, either.

Remove cornstarch after it remains on the stain for a while. Reapply the poultice and let set 24 hours or more. Scrub with hot, soapy water, rinse, buff dry. If stain remains, wipe with solvent cleaner, like rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol, or dry cleaning fluid.
If stain remains, finely shread paper towel or napkin to use as the poultice, saturate with solvent and place on stain. Cover with plastic wrap and tape down to prevent poultice from drying out. Let set 24-48 hours to allow solvent to dissolve and lift stains.
Keep marble sealed with sealer recommended for natural stone. This helps prevent oil and other stains. For natural stone care and maintenance, use only products recommended for natural stone.
