Hi,
I have an old pedestal bathroom sink that I had re coated. I removed the original hardware and had it re coated as well. I'm trying to put it back together and the drain mouth (the part that fits in the top of the sink) is no longer flush - it sits a little above the base and there is a gap now. The sink is cast iron and it looks like some threads have enamel on it now. Any suggestions?

You will have to sand or file down the coating until flush &
then apply plumbers putty to seal
Good luck
