We just hung a large framed mirror in our living room. Up close, the reflection looks great, further back, the reflection seems skewed as the reflected item (in this case our fireplace mantel which is level as can be) appears crooked or on a severe slant/angle in the reflection. Any ideas?
Thanks

If this is a new mirror it is very, very rare that there is a flaw in the glass. If it's a very old mirror, it is very possible since some of the glass used for mirror did have waves in the glass thus giving strange reflections. If you are referring to a slant of your mantel in the forward direction, then it is the normal angle of a hanging mirror.
