I just purchased a LYNXR-EN wireless security system for my home. I got through the manual okay and the zones appear to work as it should. the only problem I have right now is how to connect the telephone line so that it will call my predetermined number (cell phone) when the system is activated. the incoming line goes to a 8-position jack ? and a 4-position jack goes to the handset.

can someone help and explain to me how I can take a regular telephone wire (4-line) and covert it to be used with the 8-line jack? how can I get this system to call my cell phone from the house line when the alarm goes off?

you can take a regular telephone wire (4-line) and plug it to the 8-line jack

ok the system will call your cell phone if you program it but you wont any info the system needs to talk to a unit like a fax
