Hi, I have MTD Snowflite snowblower. I believe it is an old model 310-470-500 because I can’t find this model number anywhere on the internet including MTD site. The engine compression on this snowblower is excellent my only problem is the pulley the gets engaged to turn the snow blades has split in half. The pulley is located under the engine compartment (very small area to working) and is connected to a shaft (7” long) that extends outward sideways and is connected to a chain that is connected to and turns the snowblades.
So I have two questions/problems 1) does any one know where I might find a replacement pulley for this snowblower and 2) I can get to and see the broken pulley I just don’t know how to get it out??? Seems the pulley and the shaft are one unit???
Any help would be appreciated.
