Hi, I was trying to start my fireplace a few days ago, but I got some problem, when I just followed instruction to start the "pilot", it seems when I press ignitor button down, it doesn't have that big" clutch" sound. Of course, pilot will never fired up. I tried the other fireplace (same model) in my family room, it just works fine. any suggestion?

The ignitor on mine is an electronic device. I think you are describing the same thing. It is a push button much like those on gas grills. The "thump" feel is necessary to create a good spark. If your's doesn't feel right then it is defective. The ignitor is self contained and not dependent on any of the other components.
