We had a storm last week that knocked out power in this area. Since then the air that is forced into the house is cold until the aux. heat kicks on. I've checked the fuses in the house and all seem to be well. I have even checked with a neighbor and he said his is doing the same thing. Could we both be low on freon or have another fuse tripped somewhere?
Please advise.

Is the outdoor unit running compressor and fan???? Is it getting 220V outside there??? Have to know what is running first.

By any chance you and your neighbor have the "Power Saver" switch on your system??
