I am looking for a cut off switch that can be wired between a standard wall plug in and the appliance (wired on the appliance cord between the wall plug in and the appliance). This would cut off power into the appliance when the button is not pressed in. Does any one make such a switch and how can I get one?
Thanks

What type of appliance are you wanting to install this on?

How about a power strip? They have a toggle switch on them to turn on & off. Make sure it has the proper amperage rating for the appliance you're using it for.

Power strip wouldn't do it because he's looking for a momentary, deadman-type switch.
But yeah, what kind of appliance is this? There's a big difference between a clock radio and a garbage disposal.
