bore beetles has killed my plum tree. I want to plant another what do I need to do to keep them off my new tree. and the rest of my trees:wall:

Hi Agaviest,
It would be helpful for you to know which borer it was. Then you will know how to take preventative measures. As with any borer of trees, it's helpful to encourage birds, especially woodpeckers. It would also be helpful to know where you live as some borers are more prevalent in different states.
