My wife came home and put in her code and when she was going back out noticed that there was no display in the LED, the buttons where not beeping, and the ready light was not lit. The key pad is lit though???
I went and checked the transformer and it is warm to the touch so I know that that is working. I don't know if the back up battery is good or not. I changed it about 2 yrs. ago. Could that be the problem??? HELP!!!!:wall:

The backlight on the keypad is generally the last thing to fail. I suspect that you are no longer getting 16vac from the transformer, and are operating on a failing battery.
