Hello all,

I am down to the end of my bag of thinset and put too much water in the mix. As I understand it it should be the consistency of peanut butter and it is a little thinner than that. It squeezes out out and the tiles have to be held in place with tape. Should I stop bite the bullet and get some more thinset real quick or can I let it sit for 30-40 minute and set up some?

Thanks!

TB

This has probably compromised the bonding ability of the product. Hard to tell.:wall:

For years I had dial-up. Recently I splurged on broadband and increased my ability to travel around the Internet 100-fold. Hell, before I didn't even know this website had that stupid 180 minute rule. Now it has become a real PITA.:):wall: :)

Wash the tiles!

EDIT: I usually plan to have some product returns... like extra thinset returned next day when I plan to buy mouldings, extra mouldings returned when I plan to buy paint...
