I recently replaced my kitchen sink and when I hooked up the new plumbing lines I noticed water pouring out of the dishwasher vent tube on the sink. I didn't do anything to these lines, just unscrewed it so I could remove the old sink, then reattached it on the new sink. What is causing this to happen?

What "vent tube"?

Are you talking about the "air gap riser tube"?:)

Exactly where is the water coming from?

Did you install a new disposal at the same time?
