I know the vent is REALLY bad. How do I clean it?

If you have the old plastic flexible venting you should remove it as it is a fire hazard.
If you have metal flexible vent or rigid metal venting you can use a vacuum to clean it out.
Your dryer will dryer faster with a clean vent.
You should also open your dryer and vacuum it out but make sure that you unplug it first.
While you have it a part check the seal and support rollers and slides.
If you require parts for your dryer you can get the appliance parts (http://www.easyapplianceparts.com/_-Appliance-Parts.htm) you need.
