I was wondering ifsomeone here could shed some light on what a long range radio does with in a system and if it can be used without a company watching your system,Thanks all:cool:

It's the technology used for wireless backup communication prior to the existance of cellular technology. In practice, most cell dialers fall under this description as far as how the system handles them.

True Long Range Radio is expensive and quite propriatory.

Thanks Mr ron,But now brings to mind another Q.The celular moduals that I see today,Is it possible to have them call a personal phone?I read the sticky on this but was curious if the technogly has changed any,Thanks again:thumbup:
