Hi,
I have a vista 20p/vista-20psia vista-15p system in my house and I wanted to set a Entry delay of 4 seconds as opposed to instant alarm when a door/window opened, my fault was that I didn't read that if less than 30 seconds the default would be 30 seconds,if I can't set a entry delay 30 then I prefer to have the instant alarm going off.
The options that were affected was STAY and AWAY if I set it to MAX than it works fine but then I have to wait about 20 seconds until it arms, which is the option I use when I leave the house.
The keypad is Honeywell M6983 / K4392V2
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Juan

That 30 second entry delay is hardwired.
The exit delay will always have to time out before the system is armed, even in stay, instant, or maximum.
For your purpose, either instant or maximum will do the trick, as either removes the entry delay. Instant is Stay without entry delay; Maximum is Away without entry delay.
These baseline functions are to prevent false alarms, and nearly all modern systems have them.
