I have a Frigidaire Washer - DU Gallery Super Capacity Washer I beleive the model number to be GLWS1339CS
It is two years old, luckily for me I have an extended warranty.
Heres the question, hopefully someone can answer..
After I had the washer about 2 months I had to have the drum replaced, the top plastic part came apart and disintigrated. Now since then I have had 3 agitators put on the washer and a gasket. The repairs are covered thank goodness with the extended warranty package, but I really dont think the guy knows what he is doing that is working on it. After one or two wash loads (I never overload it) I get a clunking / loud clicking sound and eventually the agitator after a couple of weeks does not have the power to pull the clothes to the bottom of the washer and it barely turns, they just keep coming out and replacing the agitator, does anyone know why it would keep doing this, too me and I am only a female, it seems like the agitator is being stripped on the inside and it not gripping the main spline, you can also turn the agitator all the way around. Clothes are not getting clean and it also doesnt seem to be getting out all the water as I am having to use two cycles on the dryer to get them dry. Thanks for replies in advance this forum always comes through. My next step is to refuse any more repairs and demand a new washer - a different brand - I think I just got a lemon!

The extended warrany company appoints certain appliance repair technicians to certain areas, I have no option but to deal with the one they deal with locally........

I called the manufacturer this morning they refuse to deal with with the problem due to the fact that I have an extended warranty program, any ideas of what would be the cause of this anyoneand as to why it would keep doing this?
Thanks

:wall: Well back to post, the repair guy came again the other day and has re-ordered a new agitator (3rd one) it was slipping once again, aparently there is a gasket/seal that stops the water going onto the main shaft the water was getting by and causing the agitator to slip and turn all the way around, hopefully this will solve the problem once and for all.
