Hello,

I have heard that to save on electrical bills and have a proper functioning dryer you need to perform a thorough cleaning (not just the lint basket). But how do I do this?

I have a Kenmore model 110.60612990 / ser MK0523044.
Any tips on how to REALLY get this dryer cleaned?

It is a good idea to make sure that the venting is clean.

This will allow the air to flow through freely.

Lint is a fire hazard so it is a good idea to open the dryer up and vacuum out. Make sure that you unplug the dryer.

This is also a good time to check for cracks in the belt, worn support rollers, and worn seals.
