Hi Guy's, I have a GE dryer # DBXR463ED1WW that just won't start, it's not clogged with lint & not over heating. I think it's the door switch thats not engaging and hoping it's not the motor. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, Dave

Most driers I find it's the thermo fuse blown (unplug drier first) 2 screws in top of door opening take these out and top of dryer lifts up. thermo fuse usually behind drum on right side 2 wires going to it. about the size of a dime. should have continuity between wire connections. very seldom are door switches bad on these. if thermo fuse bad replace and then clean out vent to outside 95 % reason for fuse going bad.
