I'm working with a Napco panel that sends openings to the central station but does not usually send closing signals. I've checked the report codes and everything is set up just like identical accounts that are reporting closings just fine. This panel does send closing signals when points are bypassed.
I considered the possibility that this panel has the Easy arm function which does not require a code and perhaps doesn't send the same signal as it would if they couldn't arm without bypassing zones.
Thanks in advance for any wisdom shared.

I don't work with a lot of Napco systems, but this one has settings for individual user codes to be included or excluded from open or close reporting.

Thanks for the response. I am aware of this feature and each user shows to be set up properly. Im puzzled and the customer is too. It shows a closing with user number as long as they bypass something.

check what you have in address 497. If you have a 2 or a combo of 2 included with other possible choices it is selected for closing report only on forced arm which would go along with your explanation of receiving closings only when something is bypassed. if you need more help with the 1016 I would be happy to help.
