I have gutted a 100 year old house inside starting with the main floor. I have laid the sub floor now need to install a few headers and would like to know how to do this. If anyone has information on this for me step by step or a video could you please pass on this info. Thank you:)

Where do you want to install? Generally speaking, headers are two 2''x8" fastened together, often with a layer of plywood in between to equal the width of a 2''x4'' turned on edge, as in a doorway.Every application is specific to the job.

If you can, post a picture to photobucket and put the link here, with your response.
