Good Morning!
There doesn't seem to be anyone around to help with Washers and dryers! However, I will ask my question and pray someone sees who can help. My washer agitates but will not spin nor realase water. Water goes in so the hose is not stopped up. Any suggetions before I must called appliance repair?

Type of machine would be helpful....

Some machines reverse motor direction to change from agitate to spin.....

Does it hum or otherwise make any abnormal noise while it should be spinning? If it does, suspect drive components such as loose belts or sheared couplers. If not...motor or related wiring may be at fault.

Try a different cycle....if it spins on one or more cycles, but not others, suspect Timer, or control assembly.

You were correct, it was the timer-all fixed ( : However, it didn't spin on any cycle. Appreciate your prompt answer. Have a good day. Jean:)
