Do you know the name of and/or where I can buy a curtain rod and especially the bracket. I want an "L" shaped bracket that supports a long curtain rod from below allowing me to have one extra long panel hanging from "s" type hooks. Does this exist?

That's exactly what it's called, an L Bracket. :D You should be able to find them in hardware stores.
