How do I identify the zone that is causing the check 100 message?
How do I delete/reset the zone?
Thanks

Check 100 should be the wireless receiver which is zone 0. :)

Either you have a wireless receiver which has lost communication with the main system, or you have tried to learn in a wireless zone without having a receiver, or you have turned on one of the programming locations (like house code) that makes the system look for a wireless receiver.

I don't have any wireless devices.
I was trying to program the settings on the 6150 and messed up something.
I have ordered a 6270 so I can see the prompts.
How do I identify and reset the incorrect settings?
Thanks

If you tried to go into *56 programming, there is no way to determine just what you accidentally entered without having a alphanumeric keypad (6160 or equivalent).

The 6270 will emulate a alpha keypad, but realize that these keypads are a bit of a learning curve in and of themselves.

if I added/enabled device 00, how can I check it or disable it?
thanks

What you most likely did was entered *56 mode, and since you couldn't see the prompts, accidentally added a zone defined as a wireless transmitter. Since you don't have a wireless receiver, thus the check 1 00.

Without knowing what keystrokes you entered, without being able to see the prompts, there is no way to reverse engineer exactly what zone you activated. Once you have an alpha keypad, it's actually very easy.

You didn't add a zone 00, you added some random zone and defined it as some form of wireless transmitter.

After I install the 6270, how do I find the error?
Thanks

Go to program, go to *56 mode, then check the zone numbers above 8 for a wireless zone that shouldn't be there, and delete it.
