My sister (who lives 100 miles away) has the following
Fan Unit:
Model N2AHD10A06E
Serial Number EGFS199430
Unit Supply 208/230 Volts 1PH 60 HZ PWR
Motor thermally protected 2.4 FLA 1/3 HP
Heat Pump:
"Section of Heat Pump / Central Cooling Air Conditioner"
Model G/HC024SA
Serial Number EGFS192737
and was told that the blower motor is shot and I was wondering what type and model motor to replace it with? If I were closer to her house I would look myself. I was wondering if anyone knew what motor it has in it so I know what to replace it with. I have replaced blower motors in natural gas furnaces but never in a heat pump, is it the sameish way?
The people that came out wanted 600 for a new motor!!! Which seemed a bit high for me.
Thanks fall the help,
Scott Petrola

I think that unit has been around for a while so it is probably similar to what you have done before. On more modern units they are starting to come out with variable speed blower motors, the things have a control module and ramp up the speed so naturally the charge lots more! (tongue in cheek)
...you could probably just get a 230v 1075rpm 2.4a blower motor (or close) and replace it...UNLESS the motor in there has the brackets welded on to the motor instead of a clamp on belly band, then you would either have to get the OEM motor or try and find a belly band that would fit just right. (a pain).
Kind of a gotta see it thing. Fortunately most of them don't have those things. :)
...not very helpful but there you are!

A Supply house might have the OEM ### With that unit model #### that you need. Also dont forget a new capacitor for the new motor.
