I'm looking to add a TL250 IP add on to my Power Series PC1832. Anybody here have experience setting up this system and can you provide any feedback on the unit or gotcha's to look out for? I'm not currently monitored but I plan on adding TCP/IP monitoring later. I want to have the system alert me in the event of fire of break in.

According to the spec sheet:

"The T-Link TL250 is compatible with the following
control panels via the built-in PC-Link:
• Power864 PC5020 (version 3.2 or higher)
• MAXSYS PC4020 (version 3.31 or higher)"

Now the system you have is one of the newer models, and it is possible that your system is compatible and DSC just hasn't updated the spec sheet for this add-on, but I would check to be sure before you commit.

DSC Confirms that this unit will work with all Power Series systems.
