Help. I forgot master code on my DSC LCD5501z keypad.
Some how alarm was set and I can not cancel it . I had to disconnect siren and keypad to silence the alram.
Alarm was installed 6 years ago and we stopped monitoring 2 years ago. Is there any way to put new code in so I could arm and disarm again.I have a manual but it does not show how to reset the master code it requires my master code which I misplaced and forgot the number. Help p p p p p!

If you know neither the master code or the installer code, there is no way to extract the code from the system without doing a hardwire default. Since the system is armed (there is a quick arm function that someone probably keyed by accident), even the installer code will not help you.

Either you guess at your master code or you hardware default.

You need to know your system model. LCD5501z is a keypad that works on about 6 or 7 DSC alarm system models.
