I just installed some bamboo baseboard and quarter round (purchased from the Home Depot), but they don't seem to carry putty that matches the wood (Toast). None of the "normal" Minwax products seem to do the trick (very noticeable when applied to nail holes). I tried Lumber Liquidators, too, but they don't carry it either. Any ideas?

Hi there, my husband has been installing & refinishing hardwood floors for years. We used to have a bamboo floor in our bathroom. All u need to do is save some of the saw dust from your cuts & mix that with a real light putty. It may not be perfect but that's what the experts do with any of the exotic woods. Hope it works out for ya. ~Amy:cool:
