Hello,

I am in the process of remodeling my master bath and I am considering putting in one of those off the shelf electric floor heating kits under the ceramic tile. Has anyone had experience doing this or had experience with which brand to look into and which ones to stay away from? It is a fairly small area that I am looking to heat (about 4' X 3'). I am also considering putting it in another part of the bathroom under hardwood (or laminate, I haven't decided yet). Is this possible, or does it depend on the type of hardwood/laminate I get.

Any specific brand/product advice would be great... Thanks

I like NuHeat personally.

It's not recommened putting a heating unit under any type of wood because of how fast it will heat up wood(expansion/contraction). If you wanted to do this, find the floor you like, and follow the manufacturers instructions, they will tell you.
