Hello- I have an Amana gas oven AFC3355A, about 4 years old. The oven has stopped working, but the broil still works. I think it may be the start ignitor from reading the other posts, but I'm not sure. All of the electronics work. You can set the temperature and press 'bake' but the oven never heats up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If the hot surface glow igniter isn't glowing, replace it. If it glows but is a some what dull orange color instead of a bright whitish yellow orange color, replace it.
After four years of usage most hot surface igniter's become to weak ignite gas. As a result, the burner will fail to light. Best first attempt method to correct the condition, replace the HSI.
