I am planning to make some 4-6" craftsman style house numbers out of hammered copper, but I am unsure of a good thickness for something like that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure how you want to make them.
But Id just work with the reg 16oz We use that for hood roof gutters and all ;) ;)
