Hi,
sorry if my english is not perfect
my tecumseh engine run badly I can see fire in the muffler
I try to ajust the carb but son't know at all what screw do what, it's like to run a bit better because I can have it run at slow now but still have fire in the muffler when it run full gaz and get some oiled gaz coming from carb I think because it go on the same side a the carb. I see it after I finish blowing the snow. what can cause that ? to high fast throttle?
what is the screw under the carb ?
and there is 2 other we can ajust.
can I see a oic of the carb with explication of the screw somewhere
thankx

You can download service manual for your engine from following:
http://www.cpdonline.com/692509.pdf
3 to 11 HP 4 cycle L Head
The screw on bottom is main jet, turn out 1 1/2 turns
and one on side just above bowl is idle jet, turn out 1 turn.
the other on top is just to set the idle speed.
hope this helps,
thanks,

The main and idle jets are to be lightly seated(closed), finger snug, don't force hard, then turn out respective number of turns.
