We have several terraces of pale concrete tiles that are often subjected to various bird and bat excrement. I have tried removing stains with outdoor cleaner (bleech based) and industry strenght tile cleaner with some success but I have not been able to completely remove all traces of the stain. Appreciate your advice.

I cut myself a few years ago pretty badly and our patio was stained. I was watching Forensic Files and they said Muriatic Acid would clean the concrete. I got some from a local chemical supply house (you can order it online, I believe) and it took the stains out completely.

Muriatic acid does not remove stains. It removes the surface, taking the stains with it.

Not only that, but you can get it at almost any hardware store/home center.
