I am unable to burn a Wood fire in my Woodstove...as the metal flue seems to expand and cause rivelets of water to enter and drip down onto stove.
When I bought the house nothing was found in inspection, but soon after, I saw a lime line down one side of flue so called sellor to have someone check it out. Contractor got up on roof and checked and supposedly resealed the seams of the exterior flue.
Lit one small fire, got one steady stream of water coming in...tried later and ended up with 3 lines of water...and now the spraypaint they had put on stove has burned off, so that I may see they had this happening before.
Suggestions on how I may diagnose and fix? :wall:
