hello my name is Jim, I bought an older home about 2 years ago. The house has a fire place insert in the kitchen area but it only seems too heat the kitchen area, Iwould like too pull the insert out and seal it up and replace it on the other side of the wall . is that possible? and if so will I be looking at a major project! Please Advise

Get a pro in there. Check with www.f-i-r-e-service.com first for a certified fireplace inspector then check www.nficertified.org for a specialist near you (if not the same person)
