okay so im laying under my bed and my fan looked off. so i go up to just adjust it. next thing i know my whole room's power shuts off! I figured out the problem, somehow, if the black wire from the ceiling touches the black wire from the fan, then the rooms power shuts off and i have to go to the garage and enable my power. im very tired of running up and down the stairs trying to get it to work and turn my power back on.
Then I detached everything and checked everything out. I had no "stem" (thing that connects the fan to the ceiling) installed and i lifted my fan up against it and it worked! so somehow that stem is throwing everything off? but how i dont understand!?!? i checked the wires and they seem fine!
plz someone help me im living in TX and im about to shoot the heat. ty
