I have a stone wall surrounding my fireplace. It was built in 1976. I don't know what the name of the stone is but it is rectangular grey/white stones that are porous. They have grey cement. It is a rather large wall and I want to either stain or paint this wall but have no idea what to use - does anyone have any ideas? My home decorating style is country so I would like something slightly rustic but have no idea how to begin. I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks!!
