I am quite surprised that there were no responses / advise on something so common as concrete patching.

The best thing that I have use for patching concrete is: A latex additive by Dap "Bonding Liquid". You can buy it at "Do It Best" Home Center or other home centers. The way I use it was mix some in water. Using a water brush apply mixture to concrete. Also mix it in the concrete patch mix.

but we like polymer'mod'd more,,, there're vertical grades you can buy which'll be much easier to apply & finish,,, as in all conc patching, prep's the key,,, call any const supply house & ask for vert/ovhd conc patch,,, they're all ' just add wtr ' anymore.
