Hello, what would be the best way to hang a few bird feeders in a large tree? The branches they would hang from are at least 12 to up to 20 feet from the ground. Right now I have ropes hanging over the branches with the ends hooked to the tree trunk, so I can easy lower them to fill them. I am just seeing if there are any better ways that look more attractive, since they are hanging in the front yard and it is a clean, well kept neighborhood and I don't want them looking to tacky!..Those little branch hook things they sell in the stores definitely won't work.
