we just installed a water softener.
is it a good idea to water lawns and gardens and plants with soft water. im from the old school where i thought mother nature or hard water with all nutriants is best for plants. any input on this will be appreciatted. thanks.

Softened water is not recommended for watering plants, lawns, and gardens due to its sodium content.
