I have 3/4 inch plywood sub floor; and I'm going to put down ceramic tile. I have backer board ready to go....
I have an electric stove and it comes up through the floor in the wrong spot and it is only 3-wires and it should be 4. So, I need to run a new wire and it needs to be in a new place.
The only way I can imagine doing any of this is by removing a section of the plywood sub floor.
Is that reasonable? How should I go about doing this? Will I be able to reuse the stuff I cut - and will cutting the sub floor and then replacing part of it weaken the floor and affect the tiles?
Any help would be appreciated.

How big is the hole? If you just want to cover a small hole. I have seen, a lid off of a can. Just screw it on the floor with two drywall screws. It's thin enough not to show through the new subfloor.
Drill a hole big enough in the floor for the new wire to come through, or come through the wall and mount a box with a connector and cover.
