I am about to complete the basement, I am looking for advice on how many pot lights to install.
The picture below shows the layout of my basement,
at the beginning I was thinking about installing 7 pot lights (3inch),
one will be located at the entrance to the room, and other 6 , install in two rows of three pot lights, which will be controlled by two sets of dimmers
on the right wall, I am planning in future to install TV/Home theater system
My dilemma comes if it is enough of lights, during the day the light will come from windows which are big , mostly will be used during night, also I have read that you need to install from the wall pot lights about 3.5 feet and then spread out 4 feet, which will work out in my space
The celling will have drop in tiles 24"x24"
Any advice appricated if my plan is good or should look to change something, thanks
