All,

I am in the process of renovating my 1950's kitchen and need to find a 39" wide vent hood for over the stove. I have only been able to find one company so far that makes one (Broan). Does anyone know of another company that does?

That is an odd size, so it would seem you are stuck. Broan does make a quality product, so go for it.

Just a thought or 2 here....

Maybe you could use filler strips on each side of the fan? Will you be replacing cabinets? You could get matching filler strips then.

Is your stove extra wide as well? If so, then I'm sure the fillers wouldn't work, and you'll just have to order the right size.
