Bamboo and Exotic Wood Floors - Gluing vs Nailing Bamboo

We are getting ready to install strand bamboo flooring throughout our home (except the bathrooms). We currently have satillo tile everywhere except a few rooms that are carpeted. Given the uneven nature of the satillo and the fact that it is not everywhere, we are removing all existing flooring before beginning. We live in Texas and our home is on a concrete slab. The question I have is what the pros and cons are of gluing the bamboo directly to the concrete slab versus installing a plywood sub-floor and nailing it versus gluing it to a plywood sub-floor.
