The bathroom is exactly 60" wide, back and right wall are concrete and the plumbing is in the left wall so it can't be moved. Plus the other side of the left wall is the utility area with the furnace and water heater and washer/dryer. No room to move.
Is 60" really big enough for a 60" tub? This is an unfinished basement right now, drywall will make it even smaller.

You typically do not put drywall behind the tub, so your tub will be from stud to stud.
The cbu or whatever you put on the walls above the tub will rest near the lip of the tub.
The tub should fit. You have a double door to get this tub down in that room?

That's good to know.
And no, no double door but it is only framed so far so we can probably figure something out.
The floor plan the builder gave us when we bought the house says there is room for a garden tub and there is, but I don't know how they thought we'd get one that big in here though.
